Graduation day at the Community Development Through Technology Center (CDTC)
4th of December was the best day to close off the year with the graduation of the Reach Up! participants for the November intake. We had a wonderful day at the Community Development through Technology training center as reach Up! participants creatively showcased their livelihood ideas using the knowledge gained from the one month’s training period from the Reach Up! Program.
After the showcase, the invited guests including Moses Owiny – Information and Communications manager WOUGNET and Donnie Oringa – Intern Support Manager – DOT Uganda shared some motivational words with the participants to encourage them not to give up but always aim for the best in achieving success in their livelihood projects.
WOUGNET and Digital Opportunity Trust – Uganda (DOT-U) have partnered to support training of young boys and girls in entreprenuership by harnesing the opportunities ICTs presents in helping youth realize their dreams.
The training takes place at the WOUGNET’s Community Development Through Technology Center based in Kamwokya, Kampala.
