Raising Awareness on life skills and menstrual hygiene management among Girls out of School due to COVID-19 pandemic in Busia , Uganda

Hope Case Foundation a non profit organization and a member organization of Women Uganda Net Work and a partner organization on SMILE project under its thematic program area of health is currently raising awareness on life skills and menstrual hygiene among the adolescent girls  who dropped out of School as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic , become pregnant and now teenage mothers .

These teenage mothers are trained on life skills to enable them make informed decisions and also trained on menstrual hygiene management  so as to lead health reproductive lives .

During these awareness raising  meetings on life skills and menstrual hygiene , teenage adolescent girls have accessed information on the use of sanitary towels and act as peer educators to other girls in and out of School .
