Amuku Isaac
The current Fundraising and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at WOUGNET, Isaac is an Economist and Digital Rights Advocates. He is credited for his sound fundraising and resource mobilization strategy adopted by WOUGNET. Isaac is a research specialist with Masters and Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. His research interest is premised on cross cutting issues of agriculture, health and entrepreneurship and currently he is studying how innovative technologies can improve the livelihoods of both men and women and design processes and strategies that can be applied to close the gender digital divide focusing on two such phenomena: (1) hybrid gender and information Technology Policy and Laws, new innovative technologies that can be combined to promote gender equality and more meaningful engagement of citizens with the policy makers by combining aspects of gender and technologies, and (2) promotion of effective use of technologies and innovations for women’s economic empowerment. The research will contribute to literature on gender equality, innovations, and national policies and laws.
