Fridah Mutesi

Fridah Mutesi is a Ugandan feminist, human rights, civil liberties lawyer and an ardent advocate for equality for all. Mutesi is a practicing advocate in the Courts of Judicature in Uganda and has been at the forefront of challenging laws and practices that subjugate structurally excluded women, gender and sexual diverse persons. She is an author, researcher and consultant in the fields of access to justice, sexual reproductive health and rights, gender and the law. Fridah holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB-Hons), a postgraduate Diploma and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Women and Gender Studies.
