She is a Rural Development Specialist, Gender and Technology advocate, advocating for integration of gender and rights issues in ICT Policies and Programs. She is a trainer, a mentor and a Facilitator. She holds a Masters in Arts In Agriculture and Rural Development obtained at Institute of Social Studies (ISS) the Hague, Netherlands, a Diploma in Gender and Local Economic Development from Makerere University and a Degree in Social Sciences (Economics and Rural Economy) from Makerere University. She has 20 years of experience in development work, working with Civil Society Organization (CSO) both in urban and rural areas in the areas of gender, agriculture, rural development, ICT4D, policy advocacy, women rights, economic empowerment/entrepreneurship, governance and accountability and gender-based violence (GBV). She is interested in seeing change happen in the lives of women both in urban and rural areas.
