Arnold Kanyomozi Ainamani is the Project Officer at WOUGNET under the PATH Project, Rwenzori Region.
He is a social worker with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University. Arnold is a gender advocate, counselor, researcher, and writer.
He attended a feminist training in Maastricht University in Netherlands which impacted him to gain passion in helping women and children to be acquainted with their potential and fan it into flames to survive in the world today.
He is passionate about community outreach and finds satisfaction in seeing a marginalized person thriving and making it in life. He is curious and always willing and ready to learn something new and share knowledge with others. He is open to new opportunities and loves to progress with others.
In his free time, Arnold loves to explore nature, help the needy, visit new places and extend love to others.

She is a Communications Specialist, Gender Digital Rights Activist and a Writer, she holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations & Diplomatic Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations Management. Prior to this role Peace was the Program Manager, Information Sharing & Networking at WOUGNET. She has vast experience in gender responsive project identification, formulation and implementation, policy advocacy and development of communications strategy and policy documents. She has authored a couple of online publications on topics related to women’s digital human rights. Peace is a working group member of the global Internet Governance Forum on Strengthening and Strategy, a Faculty member of the Arusha Women School of Internet Governance, working Group member of the Association for Progressive Communicators on the Landscape and Intersectionality’s for Environmental Justice & ICT and Board member of the Centre for Multilateral Affairs (CfMA).

She is currently the Program Manager, Information Sharing and Networking at WOUGNET.
Sandra is a Gender & ICT Researcher, Policy Analyst, Writer, and Wikimedian. She coordinates a caucus called Women ICT Advocacy Group (WIAG) that comprises organizations and individuals interested in ICT and gender issues to advocate for internet access for all. Sandra advocates for the integration of gender perspectives in ICT policy and analyses threats to free expression in Africa introduced by regulatory initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (GAD and Sociology) from Makerere University. Sandra is a Global Voices contributor, Impakter Magazine contributor, Freedom House Contributor on digital rights and elections, 2020 Global Network Initiative (GNI)/Internews Fellow, Ttaala 2020 Fellow by DefendDefenders aimed at skilling Human Rights Defenders in the digital age. She is also the Associate Editor at Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), a community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to high-quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals. She is a volunteer at Wikimedia Community User Group Uganda. During her free time, she contributes articles on women for women on Wikipedia, aimed at closing the gender gap.
Sandra attended trainings in Digital Security, OPTIMA Network Measurement by Internews in 2020, Universal Periodic Review in 2019, SAFETAG in 2019, Geographical Information System (GIS) under the OpenEd fellowship program in 2016/2017-cohort, and Aid Data Summer GIS in July 2017. She is also a Cherie Blair Foundation Mentee Alumni 2018, a one-year online mentorship program for women entrepreneurs.
Sandra’s key interests are policy analysis, writing articles, entrepreneurship, volunteering, Gender & ICT, and research.

Program Assistant, Information Sharing and Networking
Nampiima Maria Gorret is a Social Worker by profession with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University, Kampala. She holds a certificate in Business Development from the African Leadership Institute. She is very passionate about social justice and equity with diverse experience in community empowerment, public health, mentorship and leadership. She exhibits a vast experience in research and business consultancy and thrives in working with and leading cross-cultural teams. She writes to find her voice and edits to build her confidence.

She is a Rural Development Specialist, Gender and Technology advocate, advocating for integration of gender and rights issues in ICT Policies and Programs.
She is a trainer, a mentor and a Facilitator. She holds a Masters in Arts In Agriculture and Rural Development obtained at Institute of Social Studies (ISS) the Hague, Netherlands, a Diploma in Gender and Local Economic Development from Makerere University and a Degree in Social Sciences (Economics and Rural Economy) from Makerere University.
She has 20 years of experience in development work, working with Civil Society Organization (CSO) both in urban and rural areas in the areas of gender, agriculture, rural development, ICT4D, policy advocacy, women rights, economic empowerment/entrepreneurship, governance and accountability and gender-based violence (GBV).
She is interested in seeing change happen in the lives of women both in urban and rural areas.

Patricia has 5 years’ working experience in ICT specifically in relation to Gender and Women’s Rights. She has acquired specialized training in Gender Data, Women’s Right to Information (WRI), Women in Business Management, and Internal Governance. She is a @TechChange alumni and Women in Business Mentee alumni @CherieBlairFndn .
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences where she majored in Gender and minored in Psychology from Makerere University, Uganda.
She has participated in various Advocacy initiatives and publications in Uganda including; Gender responsiveness of ICT innovations, WEB Foundation Women’s Rights Online Campaign, and the role of new media in women’s rights.
Patricia admires art, poetry and indulges herself in reading feminist novels.

Babirye Roseline is the Program Officer under Gender and ICT policy Advocacy. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Development studies from Mbarara University and a certificate in Administrative Law from Makerere University. Roseline worked with Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) as an enumerator. She is committed to see women progress in life through tackling gender inequality. During her free time, she travels to new places.

Is the Technical Support Officer, he provides technical support to staff and WOUGNET members. He is a fan of technology, arts, and innovation. Saitoti is also interested in programming and web development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Kampala International University.
He is a digital security trainer and has conducted a couple of digital security training for several institutions in Kampala and outside of Kampala as well as to different WOUGNET member organizations, partners, and women’s groups working with WOUGNET.
He has participated in SAFETAG framework training with Defend Defenders, and Digital security training by the DPI team. Saitoti is adventurous and always curious about his surroundings.

Is a Technical Support Assistant at WOUGNET under the Technical Support Department. Esther holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Diploma in Information Technology from the University of Kisubi.
She joined the Rotaract Club of the University of Kisubi in 2016 and has risen through the ranks as a member of the Club, Vice President, President, and now the Club Administrator. She has therefore intensely absorbed the art of volunteerism and serving people in the various communities. Esther is a graduate of the sauti ya sasa mentorship program by ACFODE and can relate more with other people and share insights issues concerning the communities using Technology.
She is passionate about swimming, photography, volunteering, traveling, and growing her skills in Information Technology

Finance and Administration at WOUGNET .
She is an Afrising Alumni, holding a degree in Business Administration from Makerere University and currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration.
Miriam has three-years of experience working with civil society organizations in the areas of ICT for development, gender, women and women rights that have exposed her to issues that affect women in using the internet. With WOUGNET, it has provided her an opportunity to learn Internet Governance issues and the need to make it engendered. Miriam has taken part in trainings in Gender, governance and entrepreneurship which provided an understanding of issues of human rights.

The current Fundraising and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at WOUGNET, Isaac is an Economist and Digital Rights Advocates. He is credited for his sound fundraising and resource mobilization strategy adopted by WOUGNET. Isaac is a research specialist with Masters and Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. His research interest is premised on cross cutting issues of agriculture, health and entrepreneurship and currently he is studying how innovative technologies can improve the livelihoods of both men and women and design processes and strategies that can be applied to close the gender digital divide focusing on two such phenomena: (1) hybrid gender and information Technology Policy and Laws, new innovative technologies that can be combined to promote gender equality and more meaningful engagement of citizens with the policy makers by combining aspects of gender and technologies, and (2) promotion of effective use of technologies and innovations for women’s economic empowerment. The research will contribute to literature on gender equality, innovations, and national policies and laws.

Peter Ongom is a Tech personnel, software engineer, ICT advocate, Data analyst and entrepreneur, currently working under the Technical Support Department at WOUGNET as a field Technical Support Officer. He also doubles as the program officer under the Gender and ICT policy advocacy program for project activities,based at the Kubere Information Centre (KIC) -WOUGNET's multi dimensional Information Centre located in Apac district in the Northern part of Uganda. With vast knowledge in the use of digital technologies for development, he has participated in many ICT for development projects over the years especially in the fields of education, agriculture and general service delivery in partnership with other stake holders. With a degree in software engineering from Makerere University, Peter believes that the use of Information and communication technologies if applied strategically can drastically reduce the gender digital divide between the urban and rural areas hence promoting development and gender equality among the rural communities.

Apio Lillian Mercy is Team Leader at WOUGNET and Coordinating WOUGNET activities in Northern - Uganda through WOUGNET'S Information Centre, the Kubere Information Centre- (KIC) Apac. She holds a Bechelor's Degree in Public administration and Management from Gulu University - Uganda . Mercy is a 2019 Professional Fellow at US Department of State /Alumni at Michigan State University - MSU. She Coordinated Community Action Research Programs (CARP) of Makerere University with aims of enabling rural Women prosper from Cassava bioethanol Production through University engagement with Communities between 2014- 2018
As a Community Development worker, she is Committed to building a Sustainable Rural communities across Uganda and beyond. Lillian's main focus are on identifying Social issues, raising awareness and leveraging Opportunities presented by Digital Inclusion to help solve social challenges.
