WOUGNET 2024 Annual Report

Dear WOUGNET Community, Partners, and Supporters,

As we reflect on 2024, I am proud of WOUGNET's achievements in promoting digital inclusion, gender-sensitive ICT advocacy, and women’s empowerment in Uganda. Despite challenges like shrinking civic spaces and online gender-based violence, we have made impactful progress.

This year, we have:

• Provided digital security training for gender justice advocates.
• Launched the Agroecology & Gender Mobile App for women farmers.
• Developed the OGBV Knowledge Portal to tackle online violence.
• Engaged in vital discussions on data protection and internet freedom.

Moving into 2025, we will continue to focus on:

• Advocating for gender-sensitive ICT policies.
• Expanding digital security initiatives including physical security.
• Empowering women and girls through innovative digital tools.
• Strengthening partnerships for sustainable impact.
