"Juliet’s Journey: From Silence to Connection" is a powerful comic book that highlights the gender digital divide and the transformative impact of digital inclusion. It tells the inspiring story of Juliet, a young girl from rural Uganda who, despite facing barriers to technology access, discovers the power of digital tools through WOUGNET’s interventions. Her journey reflects the real-life struggles and triumphs of many girls seeking equal opportunities in the digital age.
To ensure accessibility, the comic book has been translated into Luganda and English, making its message widely available across different communities. This initiative, supported by Belgium Partner In Development and Enabel under the Digital Rights For Girls and Women (D4GW) project, is a step towards bridging the digital gap and empowering more women and girls to embrace technology for education and growth.
