This document presents the findings from an evidence based study that examines the gendered aspects to women􀂶s internet access on mobile broadband connections. The outcome of the study will help to drive a well-tailored and specific advocacy around policy and
regulatory practices in the industry to lower the cost of broadband connection.

Women of Uganda Network (WOUGNET) is a non-governmental organization initiated in May 2000 by several women’s organizations in Uganda to develop the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) among women as tools to share information and address issues collectively.
