WOUGNET Project Annual Report

One of the community voices; quoted WOUGNET as “a voice of the Voiceless”. This remark was given by one head teacher of Magola primary school Mr. Othieno Oloo; during the first Community Engagement meeting held at St Agnes primary school. I have to state here that I agree with this connotation. I also believe that this kind of observation critically came from an evaluation mind of this gentleman on the report being shared from the SMS
platform and VSAC meetings. And this remark was given when Radio Vero's journalist (Oketch Centurio Maleria) was taking opinions from the community on any issues of poor service delivery. Among many; all those who raised their issues appreciated that their voices
through WOUGNET would not go in vain. As a project manager of this Advocacy intervention, I took these people's perceptions as support for the efforts I make with my combined team to see that something positive comes out to match the expectations of this community. The efforts of the grass root communities as stakeholders have seen
the project sail through the storm with ease.
