Project Officer

Apio Lillian Mercy is Team Leader at WOUGNET and Coordinating WOUGNET activities in Northern – Uganda through WOUGNET’S Information Centre, the Kubere Information Centre- (KIC) Apac. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and Management from Gulu University – Uganda. Mercy is a 2019 Professional Fellow at the US Department of State /Alumni at Michigan State University – MSU. She Coordinated Community Action Research Programs (CARP) at Makerere University with the aim of enabling rural Women to prosper from Cassava bioethanol Production through University engagement with Communities between 2014- 2018 As a Community Development worker, she is committed to building Sustainable Rural communities across Uganda and beyond. Lillian’s main focus is on identifying Social issues, raising awareness, and leveraging Opportunities presented by Digital Inclusion to help solve social challenges.
